Thai Coup A Non Event

A satellite glitch, which disrupted Thai television broadcasting for three hours yesterday, triggered widespread rumors of a military coup.
Reports across the country fueled what turned out to be a non-event.
Sitting in Chiang Mai, I received more then twenty sms's conjecturing about a political event in Bangkok, which had caused a nationwide broadcast blackout.
In the end a satellite glitch was responsible and all is fine and well in the Kingdom.
