THAILAND HOTEL CHAINS Onyx Launched As Amari Platform

Thai hotel management company Amari have launched their new expansion platform with the new Onyx Hospitality Group. The group aside from their core offering have debuted two new brands with luxury tier Saffron and Limited Service (Budget) tier Ozo.
Speaking about the expansion the company has announced plans for a US$44.1 million injection into development in Thailand and further afield into Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The first Saffron branded property will be the Oriental Residence Bangkok which will open in 2011.
In one of the world's top growing market Onyx have already forged a joint venture alliance with Mandeep S. Lamba. Currently there is a portfolio of 11 Ameri branded properties and under the new multi brand approach the company is targeting 40 new properties in the next 8 years.
