Thailand's Tourism Authority Blog Contest

In an effort to tap into a proven formula TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand) have launched a global contest offering 5 lucky couples free trips under the condition that blog, chat and tweet about the country. The grand prize winner will get US$10,000 along with a BlackBerry and video camera.
Australia's recent 'Best Job in the World' contest attracted over 35,000 potential bloggers to stay on Hamilton Island for six month and blog about the destination while having all of their expenses paid in a leading resort island together with airfare and US$105,000.
Clearly the TAT is trying to link into a good thing as the Best Job contest a huge publicity coup garnering millions of dollars in free PR for Australia. For the Thai contest couples will be sent to leading attractions including Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai and Koh Samui.
