Tigerair Australia Withdraws From Bali

Category: Tourism, Posted:04 Feb 2017 | 12:23 pm

Bali’s tourism sector is rocking on news that Tigerair has elected to withdraw from the market

The airline will no longer fly routes between Indonesia and Australia effective from February 3rd.

Currently Tigerair have flown from Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide to Bali under a lease agreement from Virgin Australia.

For Australian travelers from Perth and Adelaide, they will be the hardest hit giving connections to Bali are on the downswing.

In what has been an ongoing rift between the airline and Indonesian authorities has results in a rather dramatic action and there  is likely to be a tourism re-direct to other Asia Pacific destinations if the void in airlift remains in place for a sustained period of time.
