Wyndham Taking Over Karon South Sea Resort
Global group Wyndham have signed the 152 room South Sea Resort in Karon to a management agreement.
The property will be branded to their Ramada brand, and is currently undergoing an upgrading program set to complete before year end.
This marks the second recent signing with the same developer who will open the Wyndham Khao Lak prior to high season.
Hotel branding action remains a hot topic on the island with many watchers looking at who will take over for former Six Senses Sanctuary on Nakha Yai island.
While in Mai Khao West Sands is reportedly close to an agreement with regional operator to assume management after severing ties with Singapore based Ariva Hospitality.
