AirAsia Moves to KLIA 2

For Phuket residents who make frequent trips to Kuala Lumpur and use AirAsia, there is good news.
The airline has now shifted to the new KLIA2 facility.
One key benefit of the shift wil be easy access to the airport train into Kuala Lumpur and connections to non AA flights.
For those not aware KLIA2 refers to a new dedicated budget hotel terminal which is integrated into the main KL airport facility.
The old Tune Hotel which was located at the former budget terminal area is being shut an da brand new 400 room flagship property opened.
