Bali Average Room Rates Grow 10% In 2011

According to data compiled by the Bali Hotel Association marketwide room rates rose 10.3% last year compared to 2010.
While occupancy only grew slightly due to a number of new hotel openings, the effect of rates on RevPAR saw the indicator push up by 11.2%.
In terms of geographic success stories on the island Kuta rules in occupancy while Ubud has the highest ADR's(average daily rates).
Rate and RevPAR growth were at their highest in the midscale and luxury segments.
