Bangkok's Rooftop Gardeners
Thinking green today caught my eye in an article on the Coconuts Bangkok website.
It seems a new trend has sprouted urban gardening on rooftops in the City of Angels.
One popular crop is spirulina or more commonly knows as edible algae, which is an increasing popular protein.
While raising beef can take six months or longer, spirulina can be whipped up in a week or so.
While there are millions of naked roofs in the city, rooftop gardening is a great green solution.
