Beachfront InterContinental For Kamala

Category: Hotels, Posted:15 Feb 2016 | 17:10 pm

Rising Thai-based Proud Real Estate Group has unveiled plans for a new luxury resort managed by the InterContinental Hotels Group in Kamala Phuket.

Located in the MontAzure integrated community, the hotel joins Twinpalms Residences MontAzure, an ultra villa estate and future  elements that include upscale retail,  residential, wellness and beach clubs as part of the 454 rai master development.

Proud own the InterContinental Hua Hin, an upcoming Holiday Inn, Vana Nava water park and are partners in the mega Bluport Mall.

Previously the former Evason Rawai had been earmarked for an InterCon, but those plans have been put on hold after a change of ownership.

MontAzure is quickly assembling an integrated resort (IR) footprint, no doubt inspired by the success of the longstanding Laguna Phuket in Bangtao.

Kamala is without a doubt an area which is re-inventing itself and is poised to become a competitor to the stylish Surin Beach area.

Meanwhile looking at hotel’s yet to enter the pipeline that are being planned, Phang Nga Bay looks to unveil some surprising new entries this year as does the Mai Khao area.
