FACEBOOK PLACES Launched In Thailand

Category: Tourism, Posted:05 May 2011 | 06:00 am

Thailand's recent launching pad of Facebook Places is being hailed as a dream for web based marketers.
Mobile based technology lets you share where you are, find new deals locally and connect up with friends.
A key player has been Foursquare in the sector but certainly anyone with BB Messenger (Blackberry) who changes their locations as the move around understands the unique features.
As for local deals, the US based site Yelp has quickly expanded by focus on getting down to local products, service and offerings in your own neighborhood.
Look for Facebook Thailand to now tap into the hood in a very significant way.
