Global Chain ACCOR Creating Open Green Platform

In a wide reaching platform international hospitality group ACCOR have started a "Earth Guest Research" initiative.
Intended to be an open source research database which will be open to both the public and the wider travel industry.
A comprehensive survey on guest's feedback about sustainability and initiative which outline what is important to the man (or woman) with the suitcase i.e. traveler.
The targeted data has indicated trends including how younger travelers have increased knowledge and concern on green issues.
One profound finding was 70% of those responding would pick a 'green or sustainable property' as a priority over price and location.
