Minor Target Chiang Mai's Surging Property Market

Category: Real estate, Posted:18 Oct 2014 | 15:50 pm

I've just returned from Hong Kong where Minor is exhibiting their latest property offering the Anantara Chiang Mai Serviced Suites.
A weekend event is being held at the Mandarin Oriental and is also featuring Minor's Residences at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and The Estate Samui at the Four Seasons.
There is a strong move in Thailand to penetrate the China market and Minor's starting in Hong Kong is clearly aimed at cashing in on Chiang Mai's increasing popularity with the emerging segment.
The Anantara Serviced Suites Chaing Mai is a joint venture between Minor and Natural Park Public Company Limited.
The property features 44 units in a seven story building that is expected to complete in early 2016.
Branded hotel managed residences are continuing to come into vogue across the region with more products targeting ongoing hotel rental yields and aimed at relatively lower pricing points then seen pre-Global Financial Crisis.
