Patong Shutdown. Bangkok Airways Suspends Flights

Category: Tourism, Posted:01 Apr 2020 | 16:08 pm

In new Phuket COVID-19 developments, Patong Municipality has issued a request to all residents to remain in their homes effective 31st March until further notice.

The government has set up a hotline for delivery of basic food and water services.

Presently this is a request and not a restriction.

On the airlift front Bangkok Airways has pushed forward their suspension of all domestic flights from 7th to 30th of April.

For Koh Samui, this effectively ends airline services to the resort island, and Phuket’s airlift will continue to run up to the 10th April airport closure.
