Patong Shutdown. Bangkok Airways Suspends Flights

In new Phuket COVID-19 developments, Patong Municipality has issued a request to all residents to remain in their homes effective 31st March until further notice.

The government has set up a hotline for delivery of basic food and water services.

Presently this is a request and not a restriction.

On the airlift front Bangkok Airways has pushed forward their suspension of all domestic flights from 7^th to 30^th of April.

For Koh Samui, this effectively ends airline services to the resort island, and Phuket’s airlift will continue to run up to the 10^th April airport closure.
