Phuket Bids Farewell To Iconic Beach Club

Category: Tourism, Posted:15 Apr 2016 | 12:02 pm

Twinpalm’s Catch Beach Club is set to hold a closing party “One Last Time” on Saturday April 16th together with sister outlet Bimi.

The on-again, off-again closure epic at Surin Beach looks to finally have run it’s course and the government is intent to bring down the beach club structures in the area as of April 20th.

Meanwhile Twinpalms will be opening the new HQ Beach Lounge MontAzure in Kamala soon.

Expect considerable pressure on beachfront outlets in Bagtao and Layan given the government’s push to restore the Sirinath National Park area.

For now Phuket’s hotel and real estate sectors are looking at the impact of a beach club-free Surin and where will new outlets shift going forward given the considerable knock-on impact to tourism and property.
