Royal Group Continue Hotel Acquisition Spree

Singapore's Royal Group is continuing to cut a wide-swath across the Asia Pacific hotel sector with their latest acquisition being the 540-room DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur.
The seller of the hotel is real estate giant BlackRock.
Recent Royal acquisitions include the former Beaufort Sentosa which is being converted under management to a Sofitel.
On a broader scale the group also invested in buying and rebranding what is now the five star InterContinental Sydney.
