No not Nicholson. My thoughts at the restaurant in Makati turn to the Jolly Green Giant and Jack.
Sadly my beanstalk is missing? On my flights in, it was chicken curry, white rice and chicken and pasta salad. No green in site, except for the guy in the next seat with a Boston Celtics jersey.
My luck was good, the wine excellent and the flight attendants generous.
But still no green vegetables to break the monotony of meat and more meat.
What is it with Filipino's and veggies?
My plate arrives there is meat (of course) potatoes and bread. Wait just when I thought there was no hope, buried underneath the chicken filet are two green beans which look like vegetable road kill.
Flat and lifeless I perform mouth to mouth, sadly it's too late, they are goners,
My quest continues….
