Sri Lanka Targets Gaming Tourism

Emerging South Asia travel destination Sri Lanka is looking at gaming as a fast track to tourism development.
A USD350 million development in Colombo which is under development will include a 36 story casino and luxury resort.
The project is a joint venture between Australia's Crown group and Sri Lanka's Rank.
Comments from the travel industry have generally been positive with many leaders commenting about the need for Colombo to have more lively nightlife in order to attract international visitors.
