Thai Airways Please Take Note!

Category: Tourism, Posted:05 May 2012 | 06:00 am

Frequent business class and frequent flyers on Thai Airways without a doubt have a low bar set in terms of club lounge facilities.
Yes there is an endless supply of tune and ham/cheese sandwiches on white bread. Or a wide variety of mystery puff pastries to choose from.
Though in the domestic lounge in Bangkok the hot dog grill seems to be on the blink and perhaps be binned into travel lore.
Reading a review of Virgin Airlines new Clubhouse at New York's JFK Airport has made me green with envy.
Microbrewery ales, cocktails, pork slider, steaks and of course apple pie.
Cool little pods, and a great design make this a lounge to visit.
At least for the moment Thai travelers have one thing to be thankful – which is the disappearance of those slimy green spinach sandwiches.
